Long title

A Bill to require local authorities to assess the infrastructure needed to support future housing and commercial development and to prepare plans for its provision; and for connected purposes.

Summary

The Bill would require a local planning authority to assess the infrastructure needed to support housing and commercial development proposed in the local development document. This would have to include health, water, sewage, education and transport, and water. Consultation would be required and the applicant for planning consent would bear the cost of preparation of the infrastructure requirement plan.
