Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill

The Bill was read a second time on Friday 29 November 2024 and stood committed to a Public Bill Committee. It was also ordered that the Public Bill Committee to which the Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill stands committed shall have the power to send for persons, papers and records. The Public Bill Committee met for the first time on Tuesday 21 January and agreed that:

the Committee shall (in addition to its first meeting at 2.00 pm on Tuesday 21 January) meet—

(a) at 9.25am and 2.00pm on Tuesday 28 January;

(b) at 9.25am and 2.00pm on Wednesday 29 January;

(c) at 11.30am and 1.00pm on Thursday 30 January

(2) during further proceedings on the Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill, the Committee do meet on Tuesdays and Wednesdays while the House is sitting at 9.25am and 2.00pm.
