Clause 19, page 24, line 27
at end insert—
“(a)
in the case of Wales, with the consent of Senedd Cymru,
(b)
in the case of Scotland, with the consent of the Scottish Parliament, and
(c)
in the case of Northern Ireland, the consent of the Northern Ireland Assembly is only required if the Northern Ireland Executive has been formed.”
Member's explanatory statement
This amendment would ensure provisions in relation to unaccompanied migrant children could not be extended to devolved nations without the consent of the devolved legislatures, as appropriate.
