House of Lords The House was informed (by Minute entry) that the Promoters wished not to proceed with the Bill; the Bill was formally withdrawn on 9 October 2018. The Bill had been referred to an Unopposed Bill Committee. The Committee began its consideration of the Bill on 13 September 2017 and was adjourned (see the Committee tab on the left of this page for more information about the Committee).
Previously, the Second Reading of this Bill was agreed to (formally) on 9 February 2017. The petitioning period in the House of Lords has now ended and no petitions were deposited against the Bill.
